Reflection workshops on home garden and multi-media peer learning activities under CLEAR project

Lao Farmer Association and CLICK organized reflection workshops on home garden and multi-media peer learning activities that conducted during 2025 in 232 villages of CLEAR project in 15 districts, 7 provinces of Laos. 7 workshops were organized on 6-7 Jan 2026 in Sekong, Saravane, Savannakhet, Xiengkhouang, Hoaphan, Oudomxay and Phongsaly. The workshop harvested outcomes of the activities, strength, challenges and lesson learns of the past activities aiming for improvement of 2026.

Key findings of the workshops:

1. Most of the crops (18 crops) were grown well. In Oudomxay province 1 farmers produced around 500 Kg of provided vegetable in 2025. The best crops in Oudomxay is long bean. Children under 6 month consumed more vegetable around 2 times than before.
2. Over 1,500 videos produced in 2025 by the trained villagers. Most of the videos fall under food cooking and nutritious food. The videos shared at village meetings and social media which change behaviors and people watched.
